The 2019 Dashboard offers flexibility and refinement

We’ve taken your feedback on board and reworked the Key Reflective Processes. Educators now have choice in HOW they use Arinui to support their Teaching or Leading as Inquiry. Arinui can be used flexibly as educators make choices while leading their own appraisal process.
Updates to the Key Reflective Processes:
Guided Teaching as Inquiry
o We’ve revamped the existing Teaching as Inquiry module to reduce repetition and prompt deeper reflection
Guided Leading as Inquiry
o We’ve revamped the existing Leading as Inquiry module to reduce repetition and prompt deeper reflection
Semi-guided Teaching / Leading as Inquiry
o NEW: a module with more generalised prompts for inquiring into teaching or leadership practice. Excellent for those who are already confident with Teaching or Leading as Inquiry, or for inquiry contexts requiring less guidance
Upload Inquiry
o NEW: a place for educators to upload inquiries completed in other templates and map to the Standards for the Teaching Profession. Excellent for collaborative inquiry templates, including those used across Kāhui Ako
Analysing Student Progress
o We have reworked and renamed the ‘Evidence of Student Learning’ module to strengthen the focus on the impact we have as educators on learners’
Logging in - new page with forgotten password function
Prompts - intuitive prompts for navigation and ease
Support - more "Live" help-desk support and a wide range of free and paid PLD options
Congruence - design and wording changes to ensure congruence with the Teaching Council and ERO
User Interface - cleaner and even easier to navigate

Effective appraisal workshop:
All educators need to know how to harness appraisal, so it works best for them and their learners.
This workshop supports teachers and leaders to:
· unpack the principles, practices, and expectations of appraisal in Aotearoa
· engage with the Standards for the Teaching Profession and what they look like in context
· explore Teaching and Leading as Inquiry and how it connects to appraisal
· learn the fundamentals of Arinui and start building your appraisal collection.
Who should attend:
· Appraisal leader from your school, centre, or organisation
· Senior leaders
· Senior teachers, HODs, professional learning leaders, specialist classroom teachers
· Provisionally certificated teachers and new teachers, if you have been using Arinui for a while
